Dr Jivraj Mehta Institute of Technology (DJMIT) is a private and self-financed institution set up by the Charuttar Education & Navrachana Trust. The DJMIT has been established in the year 2010. The DJMIT is affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University and approved by the state directorate of technical education, AICTE & Ministry of HRD and government of Gujarat.
Campus:
The DJMIT campus is sited on the National Highway-8 near Sankar Eye Hospital in Village Mogar and District Anand, state Gujarat. The campus is 40 km away from the Vadodara Airport and 8 km from the Anand railway Station. The campus is spread over in 11.16 acres of land. The DJMIT campus is well-connected by the road.
Students & Faculty:
The institution offers total 315 seats as the annual intake in all programmes including with the 15 students through the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme. The institution has a team of more than 51 faculty members from all departments and 7 admin staff.
Facilities:
The DJMIT campus has a computerized digital library with over 7000 volumes of books, separate hostel for boys & girls having all necessary facilities, 3 buses to facilitate the transportation for students & staff, in-house canteen and sports facilities like cricket, chess, table tennis, volleyball, football, badminton and Carrom.
Activities:
The campus takes the participation in the University sports festival named ‘Spirit’. The campus organizes the farewell, poster presentation, project fair, woman day celebration, national days, blood donation camp, yoga and meditation.
