Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida

Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida is a public institution that was established in the year 2002. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is funded by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) & New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA). The university law courses are approved by the Bar Council of India.

Campus

The University campus is spread over 511 acres of land. The campus is located adjacent to the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar. The university consists of the various buildings that include school & administrative buildings.

Facilities

The university has separate hostels for girls and boys with mess, internet, gym, medical facility. The Central Computer Centre has excellent internet connectivity. The central library houses with the rich collection of journals, periodicals, reports, books, projects, newspapers, etc. The university auditorium has a seating capacity of 3000 people. Other facilities offered by the university are: Meditation centre, gymnasium, transport, indoor & outdoor sports, cafeteria, laboratories, Bank, ATM, Hospital, post office, etc.

Programmes

Gautam Buddha University, School of Law, Justice & Governance offer five years integrated Bachelor of Arts & Law (BA LLB) & Bachelor of Business Administration & Law (BBA LLB) programme. There are 120 seats available for BA LLB course.

Admission

The admission into BA LLB & BBA LLB course will be based on the entrance exam conducted by the university. Students who seek admission into law courses, they have to complete their 10+2 examination with any discipline. Student have to secure at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST students). Those students clear the CLAT entrance exam, they will also get admission into these courses.
