GH Patel College of Engineering and Technology, Anand
GH Patel College of Engineering and Technology is well-known as the GCET. The GCET was established in the year 1996 as a private and self-financed institution set up by the Charutar Vidhya Mandal. The GCET is affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University and approved by the AICTE, MHRD and DTE-state government of Gujarat. The three streams of engineering study are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation in 2012.
Campus:
The GCET campus is sited on the Bakrol Road in Vallabh Vidhya Nagar in District Anand, Gujarat. The campus is spread over in 8.9 acres of land. The GCET campus is 5 km away from the Anand Railway Station 35 km from the Vadodara Airport.
Programmes:
The GCET campus is conducting the B.E degree programme in seven engineering disciplines and Post Graduate Programme in six specializations in engineering and technology.
Students, Faculty & Staff:
The college offers the 534 seats as the annual intake for admission in all programmes. The GCET has more than 118 faculty members and 36 non-teaching staff from all departments.
Facilities:
The institution provides the rich library with huge volume of books, laboratories, workshops, internet facility, transportation facility, 24×7 water and electricity supply, sports facility, canteen, auditorium and separate hostel for boys and girls.
Activities:
The campus conducts four professional societies, language club and Prarambh club. The campus conducts the personality development programme for students. The campus organizes the annual day, Independence Day, Republic Day and other extracurricular activities.
