Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi abbreviated as GGSIPU or IPU is a public university located in Delhi. The university was established in the year 1998 as a teaching cum affiliating university. The university has affiliated 84 colleges in Delhi NCR and has fifteen schools. The university is awarded as an ‘A’ grade university by NAAC. GGSIPU is offering many UG and PG courses in many engineering disciplines and has been awarded with the Platinum Technology Award for quality and excellence in the field of education organized in Geneva, Switzerland. The University also offers courses in law, medical and pharmacy.
Campus:
GGSIPU campus is located in Dwarka spread in an area of 60 acres, the campus is still under the construction phase with 10 schools currently running on the campus. The previous campus of the university was at Kashmere gate. The university campus is provided with all major facilities to the students who are enrolled in the UG and PG programmes of the university.The university is also well connected by transport facilities available throughout the day.

The university provides all major facilities to the students having well equipped labs, workshops, ventilated and fully furnished lecture halls, auditorium and conference halls for the students, computer centre, well stocked library with good volumes of books and journals, canteen and mess facility etc.

Placement:
GGSIPU organizes training and placement programs for the graduating students. The T&P cell consist of a team of well qualified staff which coordinates and manages all the training and placement related activities.
