Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute, New Delhi
The Indian Agriculture Statistics Research Institute is an institute under the Indian Council for Agriculture Research (ICAR). It is developed for the new technologies and designing of agriculture experiments. It also formed for analyzing the data in agriculture. The institute is affiliated with the Indian Agriculture Research Institute and established in year 1978. It offers the Degree Courses in collaboration with PG schools of (IARI), New Delhi.
Campus
The present campus of the institute is a self-contained sylvan complex spread over an area of about 500 hectares (approx. 1250 acres). It is located about 8 km (5 miles) west of New Delhi Railway Station and 16 km (10 miles) east of Indira Gandhi International Airport at Palam. The institute has 20 divisions and 5 multi-disciplinary centers situated in Delhi. It has sanctioned staff strength of 3540 comprising scientific, technical, administrative and supporting personnel.
Facilities
The IASRI Institute provides the facilities beyond its limitations. There are a staff quarters, guest house and separate hostels for both boys and girls. It also provides all facilities related to the medical and health care. The institute has a spacious auditorium which is air-conditioned, sports facilities, faculty club, etc.
Programmes
The Indian Agriculture Statistics Research Institute (IARI) offered various courses in PG and Ph.D level. M.Sc. courses are a graduate degree in science with Mathematics/Statistics or a graduate degree with Agriculture. For Ph.D. programme is Master of Science in Agricultural Statistics or Mathematical Statistics or Professional Statisticians Certificate Course. The offered courses by IASRI ARE:

Placement
A separate cell is established by the institute for monitoring the student’s performance. The cell also guides the students that how to approach the companies. It also makes good connections with the alumni. The institute organizes the training sessions on soft skill development. It works on the student’s personality development and organizes the career counseling sessions for the students.
