Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal

Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal is an autonomous management institution came into existence in the year of 1982. It was started by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India and with the financial assistance from SIDA (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency). This institution was set up to provide education and training in the area of Forest, Environment and Natural Resources Management and other relevant area.

Campus

The campus of this institution is located in Nehru Nagar, in the southernwest part of the city of Bhopal. The campus is surrounded with the scenic location of hills and water, which provide a peaceful environment to students.

Facilities

This institution offers residential facility separately for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are well furnished and equipped with all the general amenities. It has a state of the art computer centre equipped with latest configurations and fast internet connectivity. It houses a library equipped with more than 34000 books, journals, reports, etc. in the area of forestry, environment, ecology and management science.
