L.J. Institute of Engineering & Technology, Ahmedabad
L.J. Institute of Engineering & Technology (LJIET) has been started in the year 2007 under the flag of L.J Group of Institutes set up by the Lok Jagruti Kendra Charitable Trust. The institution is a private and self-financing educational body affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University and approved by the AICTE, MHRD and Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat.
Campus:
The LJIET is situated in one of the three campuses run by the group of institution, at the Sarkhej Highway near IIM in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The campus is 9 km away from the Ahmedabad Railway Station and 5 km from the Ahmedabad City.
Students & Faculty:
The LJIET offers admission over 1026 seats as the annual intake in all programmes. The college has around 71 faculty members from all departments.
Facilities:
The college has international collaboration with University of Germany and Malaysia for students & faculty exchange, degree programme and research projects. The college has an animal house for pharmacy, big auditorium with audio-visual facility, computer centre with 1200 latest computers and online examination facility. The college provides a computer with internet facility to each faculty member.
Activities:
The LJIET organizes the annual day, sports event, seminars, workshops, guest lecture, industrial visits, group discussion, quiz, case study, projects and paper presentation. The college also conducts the exhibition and cultural activities.

The LJIET campus is conducting the 19 courses in a format of UG and PG programme in the field of computer application, management, Engineering and technology. The college offers the education in both shifts (Morning & Evening). Main engineering disciplines are as the following:

Placement:
The L.J Group of institutions has been established a central L J Industry Interaction & Placement Cell (LJIIPC) to minimize the gap between the institution offering and the industry expectation. The cell is leaded by the three experienced professional and 16 subordinates. The LJIIPC provides the industrial interaction, alumni meet, soft skill development and job placement for the students. Tata Steel, Gateway, Mercury, Merck, Coca Cola, wipro, XL Dynamics and ISRO are the top recruiters of the campus.
