AM. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and was established in the year 1967. The institution imparts education, training and research in the medical field. The institution is approved by Central Council of Homoeopathy.

It offers undergraduate course in Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery and postgraduate course in M.D. Homoeopathy. The duration of the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) course is five and a half years along with one year of compulsory rotational training.

Internship

The students enrolled for the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) programme has to do the compulsory internship of one year. The Internship Program, provide an opportunity to the students to apply their class-room knowledge to live situations which cannot be simulated in the classroom environment. It includes theory along with the practicals.
