Every year, the UPSC NDA 2027 (National Defence Academy and Naval Academy) exam will be regulated twice in April & September respectively. UPSC NDA exam is conducted to train & recruit the candidates in Defence forces such as Army, Navy & Airforce.

NDA 2027 Application Form

• NDA I application form 2027 will be released from 2nd December 2026 & NDA II 2027 from 12th May 2027. 
• Candidates will be able to submit their NDA exam form via online mode, no offline method will be available. 
• In an academic year, UPSC opens the NDA Exam form window two times. 
• Initially, one will have to create a profile on the website to fill out the application form. 
• In case, candidates have already created their profile then they can directly fill out the exam form & universal registration. 
• During form filling, enter the details such as name, gender, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, communication & other required details. 
• After completing the registration window, UPSC will provide the facility to withdraw the application form. 
• NDA I registration 2027 last date will be till 22nd December 2026 & till 1st June 2027 for NDA II exam form 2027. 
• Submit the details & do not forget to take a hardcopy of registration form form for further usage. 

Application Fee: 

• Rs. 100/- will be the application fee for UPSC NDA 2027 to apply. 
• Candidates will be able to submit their fee through online mode. 
• Online facilities such as debit/ credit card/ Master/Visa/ Rupay, Net banking, UPI can be used to remit the UPSC NDA registration fee. 
• Fee for SC/ST, Female or Wards of JCOs/ NCOs/ ORs candidates are exempted.

NDA 2027 Application Correction 

NDA form correction 2027 may be started via online mode. After closing the registration window, the edit window will be opened only in URN profile. Candidates must be carefull during form editing process to avoid any mistakes again. 

Candidates are suggested to complete the correction facility as per the instructions laid down by the UPSC. One will be required to use their login credentials to make necessary corrections. 

NDA 2027 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Candidates of Indian nationals, subject of Nepal, a person of India origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri lanka & East African Counties of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire & Ethiopia or Vietnam can apply. 
• Gender & Marital Status: For NDA, only unmarried male/ female candidates will be eligible to apply. 
• Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent exam organised by a State Education Board or University for Army wing. For Airforce & Naval wing, one must have qualified class 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects. 
• Age Limit: Applying candidates should fall not earlier than 1st July, 2009 and not later than 1st July 2012 for NDA 1 2027. 
• Physical Standards: To apply for the NDA exam, candidates should be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy Examination (NA). 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in the 12th or equivalent exam will also be eligible for admission.

How to Apply for UPSC NDA Exam 2027

To know complete step-by-step procedure to apply for NDA Form 2027: 

• Initially, visit the UPSC NDA official website – upsc.gov.in (Link will be provided above). 
• On the landing page, check the “What’s New” section & click on the “NDA Exam Notification”. 
• Now start creating an account for registration by clicking on the “Create Account” option. 
• Read the declaration & click on “Proceed for Account Creation”. 
• Validate your Email ID through OTP & proceed towards the next step. 
• In case you have already registered candidates, then you can directly login & fill out the form. 
• Similarly, in the next step, you have to enter your mobile number & verify it using an OTP. 
• Now create a password for your account. 
• After successful account creation, an email & SMS will be sent regarding the same. 
• Now login using 3 methods such as mobile number & OTP or URN & password OR Email ID & Password. 
• Press the “Login” link, enter the asked details along with the captcha verification. 
• Fill the application form with details name, gender, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, & Other details. 
• After form filing, upload the required documents such as 10th & 12th certificates, ID Proof, category certificate (if applicable). 
• After submitting the details, go through the latest notification section & click on “Click here for Part-1”. 
• Now read & accept the declaration & proceed for “Click Here for Part-2”. 
• Fill in the remaining details like preferences, etc. 
• On the next step, submit the examination fee using available payment modes. 
• Upon successful payment, a payment Acknowledgement will be generated. 
• On successful payment, a confirmation page/ PDF will be generated & application form will be available for download. 
• Candidates are suggested to retain the confirmation copy & payment receipt for future reference.
