Mohammad Ali Jauhar University (MAJU), Rampur
Mohammad Ali Jauhar University is a private university established in 2006 by the Mohammad Ali Jauhar Trust in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. It is recognized by University Grants Commission. It was granted university status in 2012 by Uttar Pradesh government. It was granted minority status by National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI) in 2013.
The campus of the university is located at a distance of approximately 6.0 km from the city of Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. The total area of the campus is spread in 121 hectares (300acres) of land. It is 12 km away from Rampur railway station. Ultra-modern infrastructure designed by eminent architect is attraction of the campus.
The Institution has a well-equipped, hi-tech buildings with eminent faculty members, modern gymnasium with indoor games facilities, central library with large collection of text books, reference books, periodicals, thesis, journals and e-journals, ventilated classrooms, auditorium, laboratories, etc. The institution has many facilities for the students in its campus.
The University caters course in various streams of Science, Humanities, Law, Education, Commerce, Engineering & Technology, Paramedical Sciences Including nursing, mass communication and agriculture. The institution provides the training and placement assistant for the students in campus. The cell organizes various programs related to the placement procedure.
