Motihari College of Engineering is the government aided & funded and co-educational college of engineering and technological education. Motihari College of Engineering was originally founded as Indian college of Engineering on 1980 and technical education starts from the inauguration and reopened this college on 2008 by Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar.  College is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna. It is recognized by government of Bihar under administrative control of department of science and technology. College has approved by AICTE- All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and Ministry of Human Resource and Development, New Delhi.

Campus:

Motihari College of Engineering is situated on 2.5 km from NH-28 at the foot hill of great range of Himalayas in Bairiya Fursatpur at Motihari block of East Champaran district of Bihar. College is well-connected by roads and rail network.

Students, Faculty and Staff:

The College is offering admissions over 240 seats as 60s for each programme as the annual intake capacity of the students. The college has 50 academic faculty members and 60 non-technical and administrative staff.

The college provides the facilities of laboratories, internet, boys hostel, girls, hostel, canteen, workshop, seminar hall, sports & game area, medical help, transportation, tutorial rooms, computer lab, cafeteria and post office.
