National Law University, New Delhi
National Law University, Delhi also referred as NLU was established in the year of 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 of NCT Delhi. It is a public university which is recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission). This university is also accredited with “A” grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).
The campus is located in Sector – 14, Dwarka Sub City close to the Eros Metro Mall. The campus has been spread over 21 acres of land with modern infrastructure. The campus is fully connected with the public transport facilities.
This university has separate halls for girls and boys for providing residential facilities. Hostel buildings are provided with common room, indoor games, gymnasium, etc. Classrooms are fully equipped with LCD projector, digital podiums, display screen, etc. It also has a fully air-conditioned auditorium with the seating capacity of more than 650 people. The library has a good collection of books, journals, projects, reports, CDs & DVDs, etc. It also has subscribed various journals, magazines and newspapers, etc. To provide sports facilities, it also houses basketball, volleyball courts and well-equipped gymnasium.
National Law University, Delhi offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D courses in the field of law. This university also offers PG diploma programmes such as PG Diploma in Urban Environmental Management and Law (PGDUEML) and PG Diploma in Tourism and Environmental Laws (PGDTEL).
This university offers a 5 year B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) course with the eligibility of five academic years. Students should have passed 12th or equivalent exam with securing 50% marks. Students should also clear the AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) with obtaining at least 40% marks (for general candidates) and 30% marks (for SC/ST candidates).
