Rajendra Agricultural University, Samastipur is a public university came into existence on 3rd of December, 1970. This university is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). This university runs six undergraduate programmes, thirty three postgraduate programmes and eighteen Ph.D. programmes in different fields. It is the renowned University of Bihar offering agriculture courses.
Campus
The campus of this university is located in Pusa, which is called the motherland of agriculture, education and research across the country. The campus is well accessible by road, rail and air transport. It houses academic block, student block, hostel block, library, sports centre, etc.
Facilities

Hostels are located in the university campus and equipped with mess facility and other general amenities. Rajendra Agricultural University, Samastipur offers a Master in Business Administration course in Agribusiness. It is a fully residential two year course comprises of total four semesters. In the first year of this course, students will learn about the subjects like Economics, Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Agribusiness Environment and Policy, etc. During second year compulsory, non credit course are offered to students.
