Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Gwalior
Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (RVSKVV), Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on 19th August, 2008. It is formed as second Agricultural University by bifurcating the JNKW, Jabalpur. Transfer of technology is the part of extension activities carried out by 19 Krishi Vigyan Kendras. It is an autonomous university which is approved by ICAR.
Campus
The university has many research activities which are operated through five Zonal Agricultural Research Stations, four Regional Agricultural Research Stations and 4 special research stations having 22 All India Coordinated Research Projects and several ad hoc projects to enhance the productivity and profitability of agriculture system.
Facilities
The University has well-qualified dynamic and dedicated teaching faculty. It has well-furnished college building with sufficient lecture halls and audio-visual aids, well-equipped laboratories, separate hostel facility for boys and girls, separate gymnasium for boys and girls, play ground for different sports activities, well-furnished library with text books reference books, periodicals and newspapers, etc. The University provides various facilities in their campuses.
Programmes
The university offered various disciplines in Undergraduate and Post-Graduate degree programmes. The degree courses offered by the university are of full time courses with maximum intake capacity. Admission of candidates to Bachelor Degree course shall be made through the entrance test being conducted by Professional Examination Board, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Admission of candidates to master and Ph.D. programmes shall be made on merit basis. However, preference will be given to the students. The requirement of minimum OGPA/percentage of marks for admission to master and Ph. D. degree programmes. The courses offered by university are:

Placement
The university has a full-fledged placement cell under the Dean student welfare to arrange for campus interviews for placement of graduate and post-graduate students. The placement cell has been successfully organizing campus interviews and seminars on carrier opportunities. The students have been selected by reputed organizations, such as Reliance Dairy Food Ltd., Allahabad Bank, Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, etc.
