Saurashtra University, Rajkot is the one of the renowned Universities established in the year 1967. It is the public University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It has 28 Post graduate departments on its campus and 297 affiliated colleges. Saurashtra University has been accredited as “A” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Campus
The sprawling campus of Saurashtra University is spread over the area of 360 acres of land. The huge campus of the University is located in Rajkot city of the Saurashtra region of Gujarat State. Rajkot is the fourth largest city in the state of Gujarat, India. It is well-networked by roads and is easily accessible by various modes of transportation.
Facilities
The campus of the Saurashtra University is well-facilitated with a fully functional central library. The library is well stocked with the needed books for under graduate, Post Graduate students and Staff. It has a fully equipped computer centre with internet facility. The University campus is Wi-Fi enabled and provides internet access to the students. The University maintains a good hostel facility with the facilities of Mess, Reading room, Entertainment room, Separate play ground. Besides this, it also houses guest rooms for accommodating guests.

Admission
For admission to its postgraduate law courses, the University conducts its own entrance test. The candidates who are fulfilling all the eligibility conditions can appear the test. Admission will be granted on the basis of candidate’s performance in entrance exam.
