University School of Chemical Technology, Delhi was started by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in the year 1998. The college was started with the objective of supplying trained professional in the chemical sector because of growing demand of chemical industry. The college is only one of its kind in this part of the country after IIT, Delhi. The college is affiliated to Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and approved by AICTE New Delhi.
