Vadodara Institute of Engineering, Vadodara
Vadodara Institute of Engineering (VIER) is a private and self-financing institution set up by the Vadodara Institute of Education & Research Trust. The VIER has been established in the year 2009. The VIER is affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University and approved by the state directorate of technical education, AICTE and Ministry of HRD and government of Gujarat.
Campus:
The VIER campus is sited on the Vadodara – Halol Toll Road in Kotambi at Waghodia in District Vadodara, state Gujarat. The VIER campus is 19 km away from the Vadodara Railway Station and 15 km from the Vadodara Airport.
Students & Faculty:
The VIER has the 660 per year intake capacity in all programmes. The VIER College has a team of 110 faculty members from all departments.
Facilities:
The VIER campus provides the spacious classrooms & tutorial halls, separate laboratory for each department, computer centre, library, auditorium, seminar hall, cafeteria, indoor & outdoor sports facility, ramp & lift facility for disabled students and transportation facility.
Activities:
The institution celebrates cultural & sports activities such as dance, song, drama, comedy, instrument playing, fashion show and competition in painting and sports. The campus inaugurated ISTE students’ chapter and organizes the literacy activities twice in a year.
Programmes:
The VIER campus is offering the Bachelor Degree Programme in six engineering branches. The college offers the second shift in electrical and mechanical branch. The core branches for B.Tech are as the following:

Placement:
The campus provides the career counselling through the Training & placement Cell established by the VIER institution. The Cell organizes the industrial visits every month and providing the internship training for best job placement. Matrix Telecom, Appco Group, Gateway Technologies, Info-Stretch, Allied Technology, KEC International, Sargen System, CMC and TOP Technologies are the top recruiters of the campus.
