Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijaywada

Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College (VRSEC) has been established in the year 1977. It is the first private engineering college in the state Andhra Pradesh. It is a self-financing institution set up by the Siddhartha Academy of General and Technical Education. The institution is affiliated to the JNTU, Kakinada and approved by the AICTE and accredited by the NBA and ISO 9001:2008 certification.

Campus:

The VRSEC campus is spread over in 24 acres of land in the outskirt of the city Vijayawada. The campus is situated in the Kanuru town in district Vijayawada, AP. The campus is 6 km away from the city.

Programmes:

The VRSEC campus has around 4000 students, 250 faculty members and more than 200 administrative and supporting staff. For the current academic year, the VRSEC is offering the admission over 1440 seats as the annual intake capacity of all programmes.

The campus provides the tutorial room facility, laboratories, computer centre facility, library facility, an auditorium, seminar hall, cafeteria, indoor & outdoor sports facility, gymnasium, boy’s hostel, girl’s hostel, medical facility and transportation.

Activities:

The VRSEC campus organizes cultural activities, sports activities, literary activities, technical activities, industrial visits and NCC & NSS camp & training. The college celebrates the annual day, farewell parties and fresher parties.

The training & placement department of VRSEC is providing the career counselling to the students continually by equipping them with industrial exposure, job oriented trainings and various skill development programmes.
