Bharati Vidyapeeth Abhijit Kadam Institute of Management and Social Sciences, Solapur was established in the year 1981. The institution is affiliated to Bhartiya Vidhapeeth and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Campus

The institution is located at the central part of the Solapur city. The institute is spread over in an area of 11,500.54 sq.mtrs in lush green and pollution free area. It can be easily accessible through any modes of transportation by air, road and rail.

Facilities

The institution provides various facilities to the students such as library which consists of books including management books, journals, periodicals and online databases, an advanced computer lab supporting language lab facilities, an auditorium. The institution also provides various other recreational facilities such as tutorial rooms, common room, cafeteria and a sports facility for both indoor games like table tennis and outdoor games like football, cricket and volley ball etc.

Programmes

The institution offers programme in Master of Business Administration (MBA). The duration of the programme is two years which is divided into four semesters. In the first year students study all subjects related to the field of management to clear their basics and in the second year they can take any of the specializations of their choice.

Placement

The institution has a training and placement cell which is coordinated by the students under the guidance of Training and Placement officer. The placement cell arranges for workshops, guest lectures, conferences and industrial tours. The following companies have come for the campus placement Satyam Computers, Ranbaxy, Mahindra and Mahindra, Harbinger Group of Industries and Devamigo Solutions etc.
