Uttaranchal University 2024 Counselling will be started via online mode. Uttaranchal University is the authority to conduct the Uttaranchal University Entrance Exam. The university conducts the entrance exam to offer admission into various UG & PG programmes in the field of management, law, engineering and others. Candidates must qualify the entrance exam to get admission. For B.Tech courses, the admission will be offered on the basis of JEE Main rank. The university will conduct the counselling through offline mode. Candidates will have to attend the counselling in person. The counselling will be started after the declaration of result.

To participate in the counselling, candidates will have to make the DD of specified fee and submit it on the spot at the day of counselling.

The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the spot, on the basis of their marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Candidates will have to accept the seat or reject it on the spot. The final allotment will be offered only after the verification of the original documents.

Uttaranchal University 2024 Counselling Schedule

The university will conduct the counselling from July 2024. It will be organized through online and offline mode. The counselling will be held on same day for various offered courses.

The counselling rounds information will be displayed by the university on their website. The counselling will be conducted on various rounds as per the availability of seats in each course.

Uttaranchal University 2024 Merit List

The university will release the merit list for the candidate those will be eligible for the counselling. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidate’s marks obtained in the entrance test.

For providing admission in B.Tech courses, a separate merit list will be prepared on the basis of JEE Main ranks. The category-wise merit list will be published by the university on their website.

The candidates those will be shortlisted in the merit list are eligible for the admission and further admission rounds. Candidates will be able to appear for the counselling as per their rank in the merit list.

• All India candidates: 50%
• NRI/Industry Sponsored Candidates: 10%

Uttaranchal University 2024 Counselling Procedure

On the basis of availability of the seats, the university will conduct the counselling on various rounds. After each round of counselling, the university will publish the seat matrix and the next counselling schedule.

To participate in the counselling, candidates will have to apply for offline counseling. The counselling is held at the university campus. Candidates will have to submit the DD towards the counselling participation fee to take part in the counselling.

On the basis of candidate’s filled choices and their obtained rank through the exam, they are allotted the seats. Candidates will have to accept the seats on the spot. If they are not satisfied, they can also reject it and take part in the next round of counselling. Candidates will be allotted with the admission letter for accepting the seat.

• Graduation/Post Graduation or Equivalent Mark Sheet (If applicable)

• Character Certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• GAP Certificate (if applicable)
• 1 colored photograph of parents
• 4 colored passport size photographs of the candidate
• Domicile Certificate (only for candidates from Uttarakhand)
• JEE Mains/ MAT/CAT/CMAT/XAT Percentile)/ Score/Rank Card of CLAT 2024 (if applicable)
• Medical Fitness Certificate issued by CMO
