The authority will allow candidates to modify their submitted application forms within a specified period. Bihar Polytechnic Application Correction 2026 will be started via online mode in fourth week of May 2026. 

Candidates will be able to make corrections by clicking on the “BCECE Form Correction” link given on the website by using their login details such as application number and password. Candidates will not be able to make corrections after the deadline.

Bihar Polytechnic 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Aspirants must be an Indian national to be eligible.
• Domicile: Candidates must hold a domicile certificate of Bihar state or their parents must be permanent residents of Bihar state to be eligible.
• Appearing: Students appearing for the final examination in the admission year will also be eligible to apply.
• Medical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit to apply for the exam.

For Polytechnic Engineering:

• Qualification: Students should qualify Class 10th or equivalent examination conducted by the Bihar School Examination Committee.
• Age: There will be no minimum or maximum age limit to apply.

For Para Medical (Metric Level):

• Qualification: One must have passed 10th or equivalent examination from CBSE/ ICSE or any other equivalent board with Science and English subjects.
• Age: Student’s age must be between 15 years to 30 years as of 31st December 2026 to be eligible.

For Para Medical (Intermediate Level):

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and English along with Mathematics/ Biology as mandatory subjects.
• Age: The minimum and maximum age of candidates must be 17 years to 32 years as of 31st December 2026. The maximum age limit will be 35 years for GNM and ANM Courses.

How to Apply for Bihar Polytechnic 2026

To apply for the DCECE 2026, follow these steps:

• Visit the BCECE website link (link will be given above).
• Click on the “Online Application Portal of DCECE-2026” link and press the “Apply Online” button.
• Read the instructions given on the screen carefully.
• Fill in personal email ID and mobile number, as all communications will be sent to same.
• Verify the details by entering the verification codes sent on the mobile number and email ID.
• After successful registration, log in to the portal using the registered email ID and password.
• Start filling the online application form with all the required personal and educational information.
• Once the details are filled, click on the “Submit & Continue” button. 
• Upload scanned images of a candidate photograph and signature as per the specified format.
• Click on the Submit & Continue button after uploading the photo and signature in the designated place.
• Candidates should thoroughly check the information provided by them.
• If the information provided in any stage is found to be incorrect during the check, then candidates must correct it by clicking on the “Back to Edit” button.
• Then, click on the “Submit & Continue” button, so that the information given by candidates gets updated again.
