CUET 2025 Exam Center Issues: The CUET 2025 city slip was released on 07th May 2025, and since then, aspirants have been saying that the exam centers allotted to them are not one of their preferences and are also very far away from their places.
NTA is set to begin the CUET UG 2025 examination tomorrow, 13th May 2025, but candidates are facing issues regarding the exam center allotted to them.
Students have expressed deep concerns regarding the long distances, safety risks, and high travel expenses they now face.

The examination will be held in more than 300 cities, including 15 cities outside of India. With only a few hours left to begin the examination, the authority has not yet said anything regarding the candidates’ issues.
Many of the candidates also stated that the centers allotted to them at the university are currently not conducting any exams due to the India and Pakistan tension. Due to the current situation, some of the exams were already postponed and rescheduled.
CUET candidates also urged NTA to postpone the exam, even only for the war-affected states or cities, but the authority didn’t postpone the exam and is going to begin the exam as per the schedule.
CUET Candidates Raise Concerns on X Over Distant Exam Centres
CUET aspirants over X are urging NTA to reconsider the allotted centers and allot them centers preferred or near to home. Users are saying that:
“I got my admit card, which said my exam in Mohali was postponed. Later, it was updated to show the exam is now on May 14th. The Punjab government has postponed all UG exams, and Chandigarh faces constant firing and blackouts. We need to know if we’re expected to take the exam”
“I request you to please postpone the CUET exam. I’ve been allotted a centre in Mohali, but I live in Jammu. Due to the recent Pakistan-linked attack and the high alert in the region, I had to move to another state for safety. If the situation worsens students have to suffer a lot“
NTA has also released the CUET UG 2025 admit card. The examination will take place from 13th May to 03rd June 2025. Admit cards have been released for the exam to be held from the 13th to the 16th of May 2025. The Authority will soon release the admit card for all.

My preference was shillong but I got manipur as my center if possible I would like to change it to shillong
Changes in the exam centre is not possible. You must contact the officials to get clarification for such issue.
I stay in Delhi and I found out that my exam centre was in Manipur which I do not have the budget to fly to Manipur and places to stay in short notice, which has raised concern among my family and many other students.
It would definitely be best to change our exam centres to cities or states that are closer to the candidates.

I’m not satisfy with my exam center because it’s too far away from my home it’s almost 4 to 5 hour distance to travel with any vehicles. Therefore please something regarding this matter if it is done then it will be grateful for me….
Exam centres cannot be changed once provided on the admit cards. You must make arrangements and proceed to appear for exam. In case NTA releases any travel notice for the ease of students, we will update it in the article.
