GATE Exam Update: The GATE 2026 application correction window is closing today. Candidates now have 01 day.
GATE 2026 registration ended on 13th October, and form correction began on 28th October 2025.
Those who have applied and made any mistakes can now avail the GATE 2026 application correction window. Candidates note that this is a one-time opportunity.
The last date to apply for the GATE application form without late fees was 28th September 2025, which was extended to 7th October 2025. With late fees, candidates were allowed to apply was 13th October 2025.
GATE application correction facility is provided after the form submission window closes. For the GATE 2026 application correction date, it is from 28th October to 03rd November 2025. Now the last day to edit GATE form is extended till 10th November 2025.
Authority has released the form correction dates and details. The GATE correction window is available at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. To avail this facility, candidates are required to log in to the GOAPS portal.
Editable Fields in the GATE Form
Candidates will not be allowed to edit all the fields in the GATE application form. Only a list of a few fields can be changed with the help of the correction facility.

The application fees for GATE are non-refundable. Once candidates have corrected their details and submitted the form after using the correction facility, no required of corrections will be accepted by the authority.
IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 exam on 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th February 2026. Admit cards will be issued by the authority only to candidates whose application forms have been successfully accepted.
