B.Tech Course (CSE):

• Qualifying Level: Passed 10+2 level or equivalent from a recognised board. Those appearing or results awaited can also apply.
• Qualifying Marks: In qualifying level students should have secured atleast of 60% marks (55% marks for reserved category).
• Qualifying Subjects: Students should have qualified 12th level with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one among Computer Science/ Chemistry/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship /Technical Vocational subject.
• Selection Procedure: Candidates selection in the course depends upon the merit scores obtained in qualifying level/ JEE main/ all national level aptitude tests/ performance in personal interview.

BCA Course:

• Qualifying Level: Passed 12th level or its equivalent examination from any recognised board. Appearing or result awaited students can also apply.
• Qualifying Marks: Atleast of 50% marks should be secured in 12th level to be eligible. 45% marks for reserved candidates.
• Selection Procedure: Candidates selection in the course depends upon the merit scores obtained in qualifying level/ performance in personal interview.

MBA Course:

• Qualifying Level: A Graduation degree in any discipline is must from any recognised university.
• Qualifying Marks: At least of 50% marks for general and 45% marks for reserved categories should be attained in the qualifying exam.
• Scores Accepted: Valid score in CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ UU Entrance Test Score/ Percentile and interviews is accepted for admission.

Uttaranchal University 2026 Admission Procedure

Admissions will be provided through national level entrance tests like JEE Main, CUET, CAT, MAT, CMAT etc. For some courses, admissions will also be given as per the candidate’s performance in the qualifying exam. The university may also conduct personal interview before admitting the students in respective courses.

The admission process will comprise of major three steps, i.e. Registration, Application Form and Document Verification/Admission. 25% of seats from the total intake will be reserved for students of Uttarakhand state.
