IIT JAM Exam Update: The Indian Institute of Bombay has recently activated the JAM 2026 mock test link.
With the help of a mock test, aspirants can make themselves familiar with the online test interface and question format, and overall JAM exam pattern before the actual exam.
Joint Admission Test for Mastery (JAM) official mock tests are free, candidates just have to provide their registration credentails to access the tests.
IIT Bombay will be conducting the JAM 2026 on 15th February 2026. Aspirants to boost their JAM exam preparation should solve the official mock test to know how well they are prepared for the examination. The mock tests are available for all 07 subjects: biotechnology, chemistry, economics, geology, mathematics, mathematical statistics, and physics.
How To Take IIT JAM Mock Test
To practice the JAM 2026 official mock test, follow the steps given below:
- Go to the official website of JAM 2026
- On the homepage, click on the “Examination” option.
- A drop-down will appear, select “Mock Test” option.
- You will be redirected to the JAM subject-wise most test page.
- Select your subject and click on the “start mock test” link.
- A candidate login window will appear.
- Enter required credentails and click on the “Sign In” button.
- An instructions page will open on the screen, click on the “Next” tab, select the agreement box, and tap on the “I am ready to begin” box.
- The JAM 2026 mock test will be displayed on your device.
The JAM examination is conducted in a computer-based test (CBT). The question paper is divided into three sections, namely, A, B, and C, where the questions appear in a random sequence on a computer screen. There will be 60 questions carrying a total of 100 marks.
JAM question paper section A is Multiple Choice Question (MCQ), section B is Multiple Select Question (MSQ), and section C is Numerical Answer Type(NAT).
The JAM 2026 registration has closed. Anytime soon, the authority will start the application correction window. Less time is left for the exam, so all the candidates are advised to boost their preparation.
