The INI SS 2027 prospectus will release soon on All India Institute of Medical Sciences online website. The exam is conducted in two stages – MCQ based online exam and departmental assessment. Candidates qualifying INI SS exam successfully get admission in DM/ M.CH/ MD Hospital Administration.

How to Register for INI SS 2027:

- Now click on ‘NEW Registration‘ option and proceed to fill form further.
- Fill Form details and upload images/ documents as per format.
- Pay application fee using provided mode.

Eligibility Criteria

Course Wise Criteria:
D.M Courses:
- Students must have completed a MD/ DNB degree or equivalent from an NMC recognised university.
M.Ch Courses:
- Applicants must possess a Bachelors degree in MD/ MS in a relevant field or equivalent from a MIC recognised university is mandatory to apply.
M.D Courses:
- Student must have MBBS degree obtained with atleast of 55% marks (50% for ST/ SC).
- Students applying should have Minimum 3 years of experience in Govt. Hospital within relevant field or 5 years of general practice.
- Registration with either Central or State Medical registration council is mandatory.

INI SS Exam Pattern 2027

- Exam mode: It is conducted in CBT mode.
- Duration: 90 minutes are given to complete the paper.
- Language: Paper is provided in English.
- Total marks: Exam is of 80 marks.
- Number of Questions: Paper will have total 80 questions.
- Questions Type: Objective type questions will be asked in paper.
- Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, +1 mark will be provided, while -1/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

Preparation Tips
- Students appearing for INI SS exam, must go through various tips provided:
- One most followed preparation tip is practising mock test and solving PYQs.
- Before starting the preparation, candidates should completely know the syllabus and exam pattern.
- Students need to priortise the high yield super speciality topics.
INI SS Admit Card 2027
After completion of registration process, centres will be finalised for registered candidates. Students will be allocated roll numbers. INI SS admit card will be released in third week of November 2026 (Jan session). Students have to login to download admit card.
For July session, the admit card will be issued in third week of April 2027. Hall ticket will mention details like candidates name, roll number, exam date, venue and test instructions.
INI SS Result 2027
The result will be declared in two stages. The written test result will be announced in December 2026 for Session 1. The result can be checked online and will be provided in the PDF form.
Those securing 50% in Stage 1 and qualifying other criteria will be then called for stage 2 (Departmental clinical/ practical/ lab-based assessment) related to sub-specialty /systems/ component of specialty/ course for which candidate has applied in respective department at AIIMS, New Delhi.
INI SS Merit List 2027
The authority will declare two merit list of qualified candidates on the basis of performance shown in Stage -1 and II. It will be announced in third week of January 2027 for January session.
For the common merit list (all INIs), the candidate appeared and qualified in stage -1 will be assigned a rank and placed in list in order of overall rank. For AIIMS and PGIMER, separate merit list will be released and used for allocation of seats.
INI SS Cut Off 2027
To be eligible for participation in counselling/ seat allocation process, students need to qualify both stage 1 and 2. The qualifying cut off for is 50% for stage 1 as well as for stage 2.
The cut off is calculated keeping in mind various factors – Availability of seats, number of appearing candidates, qualifying candidates, difficulty level, previous year cut off trends, marks scored, etc.
INI SS Counselling 2027
The counselling / seat allocation process of INI SS 2027 will begin in December 2026 for January session. Those successfully securing qualifying cut off will be called for seat allocation process.
The allocation process & admission into participating INIs is governed by rules and regulation of respective institutions.
