- NTA will release the application in the last week of October 2026 for Session 1 (January attempt).
- JEE Main 2027 registration last date will be fourth week of November 2026.

JEE Main Correction Window 2027
After JEE Main 2027 application process is over for Session 1, correction window will open online. For january session registration, link to edit details will be available in first week of December 2026. Students have to login with their credentials to edit application form.
Correction can be done in few details only. The link will be active for only 2-3 days and no extension will be provided further. Students must pay additional fees wherever required as mentioned in the notice. For April session, correction window will open in fourth week of February 2027.
JEE Main 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Basic Criteria:
- Students should have passed Class 12th with required subjects (PCM) from a recognised board/ university. No age limit or minimum percentage required to appear for JEE main.
- Subject Wise Eligibility: Students have to fulfil required criteria as per subject combinations required for B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Plan in IITs/ NITs/ CFTIs.
- B.E/ B.Tech – Applying candidates must have passed 12th with Physics & Mathematics subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ technical vocational subjects.
- B.Plan – Passed 12th with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- B.Arch – Passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Year of Eligibility: Candidates appeared 12/ equivalent exam in the year 2025, 2026 are eligible. Those appearing in 2027 can appear irrespective of their age. However, students must check with the institute they want admission as they may be required to fulfil the age criteria
- Attempt limit: Candidates can appear 6 times in three consecutive years (two times a year in January & April).
Eligibility for JEE Advanced/ IITs/ NIT/ IIITs & Others:
- Students should qualify JEE Main exam grabbing top 2,50,000 position to be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced exam.
- Admission in NITs, CFTIs, IIITs: Students applying via CSAB, must have passed 12th with 75% marks (60% for ST/ SC) OR be in TOP 20 percentile in 12th.
