• Domicile: A domicile certificate of Himachal Pradesh is mandatory to apply for admission. 
• Age Limit: The minimum age of candidates must be 14 years as on 1st August 2027 for all trades. For Driver Cum Mechanic Trade, the minimum age of candidates must be 18 years. 
• Qualification: Applying candidates must complete their 8th or 10th level qualifying exam from a recognized board. 
• Subject: One must have Mathematics & science as a mandatory subject in the qualifying exam to apply. 
• Physical Fitness: It will be mandatory to have both a medical & physical fitness certificate to apply for admission.
