Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is an autonomous organisation. IIFT offers MBA programmes in International Business studies to the eligible candidates. IIFT is the national level admission process to get admission in MBA courses. After qualifying the exam, candidates are eligible for admission to the affiliated campuses of IIFT.

IIFT Admission 2026

On the basis of Written test, Essay write-up, Group Discussion and Interview the final admission will be offered. Foreign National/ NRI/ Children of NRI will also be eligible to apply through General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).

Based on the performance marks obtained by the candidates in the written test (CAT 2024), candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview. The GD, PI and other rounds will be organised at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.

Only those candidates will be called for the next rounds who have reach the cut off set by the authority.

IIFT Selection Procedure 2026

Candidates are eligible for the admission only after qualifying the written test of CAT 2025. Candidates are called for the further rounds on the basis of candidate’s performance in the exam. It is must to clear all rounds of the admission procedure for getting admission.

After all rounds, the separate merit list is prepared and final result will be declared in individual campuses. For selection in other rounds candidates have to qualify the sectional-cut-off and also overall cut-off.

Admission Criteria

The final admission is offered to the shortlisted candidates on provisional basis. If any candidate fails to produce the final mark sheet of their qualifying degree or he/ she did not qualify the bachelor’s degree exam, then their candidature is cancelled.

Candidates are advised to immediately inform the concerned institution about their result, if they will not do this, the institution will automatically cancel their admission.

IIFT Previous Year Cut Off

IIFT Cut Off 2025 will comprise of minimum passing marks which a candidate must score to be eligible for admission. The authority will release the cut off marks separately based on the different sections and categories.

To determine the minimum cut off percentile, the authority will consider several factors such as number of candidates to be shortlisted as per the availability of seats, difficulty level of exam, past year’s cut off trends, category of candidates etc.

Candidates can make estimation from the last year section-wise overall cut-off.
