IIST 2025 Application Form will be filled by candidates in first week of April 2025 for PG courses and third week of June 2025 for UG courses. It is an admission procedure organised every year by the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). This admission procedure is organised at national level for providing admission into UG, PG or Doctoral programmes in fields of Engineering, Architecture and Science. The selection of candidates for admission to above courses will be strictly based on national level scores such as JEE Advanced, GATE, JEST, UGC-NET etc.

IIST 2025 Application Form

Candidates can check the necessary information related to IIST 2025 Application Form below:

• The IIST 2025 Application form will be filled by candidates through online mode only.
• Candidates will be able to fill the application form for UG courses in third week of June 2025 and PG courses in first week of April 2025.
• Applicants will have to provide details like name, email ID, phone number etc to generate a registration number for login.
• Provide all the asked details like personal, qualifications and address details to fill the application form.
• Candidate must ensure that they provide correct information for filling the application form, as no correction in details of application form will be rectified later.
• While filling the application form, candidates will be required to upload all the relevant documents like photograph and signature in prescribed format.
• The last date for submission of online application form will be till fourth week of June 2025 for UG courses and first week of May 2025 for PG courses.
• Candidates are advised to keep a copy of filled application form with them for future uses.

Application Fee:

• TheIIST 2025 Application fee will be paid through online mode.
• For payment, candidates will have to use debit card/credit card/ net banking and other online gateways.
• The registration fee of IIST 2025 will be non-refundable.

IIST 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are required to fulfill  the following eligibility requirements to be considered for admission to IIST 2025:

UG Courses:

• Nationality: Candidates who are Indian National or possess OCI/PIO card will be eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: Candidates belonging to GEN/EWS/OBC category must be born on or after 1st October 2000 to apply for admission. For candidates belonging to reserved category, there will be an age relaxation of 5 years. 
• Qualification: One must have passed 12th level examination or equivalent from any recognised board.
• Marks Criteria: A minimum of 75% marks (65% in case of reserved category) must be obtained in the qualifying exam.
• Subjects: Applicants must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with any one language subject in the qualifying examination.
• Scorecard: A valid scorecard of JEE Advance 2025 exam must be obtained by candidates to apply for admission.

PG Courses:

• Age Limit: The maximum age of regular candidates must be 32 years as on 2nd May 2025 and 45 years for ISRO/DOS sponsored candidates. 
• Qualification: Applicants must have a qualifying degree in BE/ B.Tech /M.Sc or equivalent degree from any recognised university.
• Marks Criteria: In th qualifying examination, a minimum of 60% marks for GEN/EWS & OBC category (55% marks in case of SC/ST & PwD category) must be scored to be eligible to apply.
• Scorecard : Candidates must have obtained a valid scorecard of JEST/GATE 2025 exam in order to become eligible for admission.

How to Apply for IIST 2025 

Candidates must follow the given steps by step procedures to apply for IIST 2025:

• Go to the IIST website (link will be provided above).
• Then, click on “New User Registration” tab.
• Enter details like name, email ID, Mobile number to get a system generated IIST registration number.
• Login to website and fill in personal, address and qualification details for profile registration.
• Select the branch as per the preference and click on “Pay registration fee” button.
• Pay the prescribed registration fee using online payment gateways.
• A confirmation page will be displayed on the screen. 
• Press the “Submit” button to proceed. 
• After successful payment, retain a copy of filled application form and fee receipt for further requirements.
