NEST 2025 Application Form will be made available in fourth week of March 2025 through online mode. NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) is an entrance examination conducted every year at national level. The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Center for excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE-CEBS), Mumbai is the conducting authority of the NEST entrance exam. This exam is conducted to offer admission to eligible candidates into a five year Integrated MSc programme in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Candidates seeking admission to above courses must apply for the exam.

NEST 2025 Application Form

Candidates must go through the below sections for general information related to NEST 2025 Application Form:

• The NEST 2025 registration process will be started in fourth week of March 2025.
• The application form will be made available to candidates through online mode only. No application through offline mode will be accepted.
• Candidates must ensure that they satisfy all the eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill the application form. 
• Fill the application form with necessary details such as personal, address, communication and qualification details.
• Upload relevant documents such as scanned image of Photograph, Signature etc as per the specified instructions.
• The candidates will be given the facility to correct or update the particulars filled in  application form in first week of June 2025.
• Candidates will have to submit their application form before fourth week of May 2025. No application will be accepted after final submission date.
• Once submitted, candidates must retain a copy of confirmation page of application form for future references.

Application Fee:

• Application fee of NEST 2025 will be paid through online mode only.
• Payment will be made using online payment gateway such as Credit Card/ Debit Card/ UPI/ Net Banking.
• This is to be noted that the fee once paid will not be refunded.

NEST 2025 Application Correction

Applicants will get an opportunity to edit the form if they made any mistakes while filling the online application form of NEST 2025. The necessary changes in application form will be possible through the correction window in first week of June 2025. The correction window will  remain open for a limited period of time post submission of application form.

To make changes in particulars, candidates will be required to enter their login credentials on the portal. Candidates must take utmost care while filling the application form, as any modification in particulars like name, date of birth, registration number, mobile number and email ID will not be entertained. 

NEST 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates will become eligible to appear for NEST 2025 by satisfying the eligibility criteria state below:

• Qualifications: Candidates must have qualified 12th standard examination from any recognised board in India in the year 2023 or 2024.
• Marks: To be eligible, candidates must secure at least 60% marks (55% marks in case of SC/ST/Pwd category) aggregate marks in qualifying examination. 
• Subjects: In the 12th standard, candidates must have a science background with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and/or Biology.
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in qualifying examination in 2025 will also be considered eligible.

How to Apply for NEST 2025 

To apply for NEST 2025, candidates must follow the given procedures:

• Go to the NEST 2025 website (link will be given above).
• Press on “Online Application” tab from the homepage.
• Enter basic details like name, email ID, phone number, date of birth, gender etc to complete the registration process.
• Logging credentials for online application filling will be provided upon successful online registration.
• Login and fill in application form with details like personal, address and academic details.
• Upload scanned images of candidate’s photograph, signature and other documents in prescribed format.
• Once the application form is filled completely, cross-check all the particulars carefully and submit it.
• Submit the online application fee using online payment options.
• Now press the “Submit” button to proceed further. 
• After submitting the application form, a confirmation page will be displayed on the screen. 
• Lastly, take a printout of filled application form and fee receipt for further usage.
