NEST is an national level entrance exam conducted by (National Institute of Science Education and Research) NISER, Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai- Department of Atomic Energy Center for excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE-CEBS), Mumbai.

NEST 2026 Application Form

NEST 2026 Application Correction 

The authority will also provide the facility to make correction in the NEST 2026 application form. The edit window will be opened from 13th to 14th April 2026 via online mode. Candidates will be required to use their login credentials to edit the submitted application form. 

In case of any mistake made in application form during submission, they can rectify their mistakes during the edit window. Applicants must take utmost care while filling the form, as any modification in particulars such as name, date of birth, registration number, mobile number & email ID will not be entertained. 

NEST 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have qualified class 12th standard examination from any recognized board in India in the year 2025 or 2026. 
• Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 60% marks (55% marks in case of SC/ST/Pwd category candidates) aggregate marks. 
• Subjects: To be eligible for the exam, candidates must have a science  with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and/or Biology. 
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in 2026 will also be considered eligible for admission.

• On the homepage, press the “Registration” link to proceed. 
• Initially, register yourself by providing the basic information such as name, email ID, phone number, date of birth, etc.  
• After registration, login details will be sent to the registered email ID & phone number. 
• Now login using allotted details & start filing the application form. 
• Fill in the details such as personal, academic qualification, personal details, etc. 
• Upload the scanned images of candidate’s photograph, signature & other required documents in prescribed format & size.
