NSD 2025 Exam Dates
Given below are the dates of the NSD 2025 examination for various events:

NSD 2025 Exam Schedule
Here we are providing the detailed official schedule for NSD 2025 admission procedure:
Availability of Application Form:
The NSD 2025 application form of the 2025 session will be released via online mode in the second week of April 2025.
Last Date of Application Form Submission:
The deadline to submit the application form for all the aspiring candidates will be till the second week of May 2025. Any application after the passing of deadline will not be accepted.
Release of Admit Card:
The admit card for the 2025 session will be out a week or 2 weeks before the conduction of the examination.
Only the registered candidates will be able to download the admit card. It will be mandatory for the candidates to carry the NSD 2025 admit card to the venue of the examination or else they will not be permitted to appear in the examination.
Date of Examination:
The NSD Preliminary test/ audition will be held at twelve centres. All the cities hosting preliminary examination will have different audition dates for the participating candidates.
Result Declaration:
The result of the NSD Entrance test will be declared within a month of the conduction of the examination. Preliminary interview results will be released for the Bengaluru centre.
After the NSD 2025 results are out, the subsequent merit list on the basis of which the candidates will be called for final workshop will be started.
The final workshop will be conducted from August 2025. Final interview results for the candidates will be released in August 2025 via online mode.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form as without fulfilling the eligibility norms they will not be permitted to enrol as a student at NSD. The Eligibility Criteria of NSD is provided below:
Qualification Criteria:
The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognised university.
Theatre Work Experience:
The candidate will have to participate in at least 6 theatre productions.
Age Limit:
- The minimum age limit will be 18 years.
- The maximum age limit will be 30 years.
- Reserved category candidates will get 5 years relaxation upon submission of relevant caste certificates issued by competent authority.
Language:
- The candidate should have fluency in English and Hindi language.
- Candidates will be required to have video evidence as documentary proof of theater experience.
