PTU Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech Course: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 10+2 from any recognized board . 
• Marks: Applying candidates must score at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates). 
• Subject: In the qualifying exam, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with one of Computer Science/ Biology, etc. 
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will also be eligible for admission. 

For M.Tech Course: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have passed B.E/ B.Tech from a recognized board to apply. 
• Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 50% marks for general & 45% marks for reserved category candidates. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in the final year of graduation will also be eligible to apply for admission. 

For MCA Course: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have qualified any graduation degree from the University recognised by the UGC.
• Marks: Applicants must have secured 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category) to be eligible.
• Subjects: Candidates should have Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level or at Graduation level to be eligible to apply.
