TISSNET 2020 Interview (PIT & PI) has been started from 11th March 2020. Call Letter for PIT & PI has been released on 26th February 2020. TISSNET 2020 Admission will be provided on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Written Test and Interview Rounds. TISS conducts the entrance exam of TISSNET to offer admission into various M.A, B.A, M.Phil and Doctoral level Programmes. To get admission into various campuses of TISS, candidates must qualify their written test and Interview Round. Admission into TISS Campuses situated in Tuljapur, Mumbai, Guwahati and Hyderabad will be done on the basis of written test and interview. Candidates will have to qualify both the selection rounds with minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for admission.
The admission of TISSNET 2020 will start from the month of February 2020. Candidates selected for admission will required to bring their original as well as photocopies of their required documents for the document verification.
TISSNET 2020 Written Test
The first stage of selection for admission into TISS is qualifying the written test (TISSNET). The written test will be organized in online CBT mode. The pattern of the question paper will be different for various programmes.
The questions in the test will be of objective in nature. Total time duration of the exam will be of 1 hour 40 minutes for MA Programme and 1 hour 30 minutes for BA Programmes. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. The question paper will be of total 100 marks.
Candidates who qualify written test will be called for the interview and group discussion process.
TISSNET 2020 Pre – Interview Test/Group Discussion
After candidates will successfully qualify the written test, they will become eligible for PIT & PI Rounds. In the PIT Round, candidates will be provided with two topics for Group Discussion. Candidates will require discussing on any one topic and coming into consensus.
The PIT/GD Round will be of total 50 marks. Candidates will be tested here to know their communication skills, teamwork, leadership quality and ability to perform under the situation of stress.
TISSNET 2020 Personal Interview
After the PIT Round, candidates have to represent themselves in the Personal Interview Round. In this round, candidates have to represent themselves before the panel of interviewers and answer some basic questions.
PI Round will be of total 75 marks. Candidates will be asked basic questions to know about their experience, communication skills, educational background and other skills.
Note: No PIT or PI Round will be organized for admission into B.A Programme. Admission into B.A Programme will be done on the basis of written test.
TISSNET 2020 Admission into various programmes will be done on the basis of marks scored in written test and interview round. Candidates have to qualify the minimum cut off marks to be eligible for admission into the Institute.
Candidates will have to bring original documents for verification process. Without verification of documents seats will not be allotted to the candidates.
