VIT AP Admission 2025 will be organized for various UG and PG programmes. It is a university level admission procedure organized every year to offer admission in various UG, PG and Doctoral programs. VIT AP 2025 Application Form

Following are the important instructions related to VIT AP 2025 Application Form:

• Candidates will be able to fill registration form from the month of January 2025.
• VIT AP application form 2025 will be released via online mode.
• Applicants are advised to fulfill the eligibility norms before applying for admission.
• Enter the required information to fill application form i.e. personal, educational, address etc.
• Applicants must also upload the scanned images of documents within a prescribed size and format.
• University will not provide a correction facility for rectification, applicants are advised to fill the correct and valid details in application form.
• Candidates will be able to submit the application form till first week of April 2025.
• Take a printout of form and keep it safe for future reference.

Application Fee:

• The application fee will be different for all courses offered by the university.
• Students will be able to submit application fees using debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
• Application fees will be non- refundable once paid.

VIT AP 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria of VIT AP admission 2025:

For B.Tech Course:

• Nationality: One should be a Resident/ Non-Resident Indian National/ PIO/ OCI.
• Age limit: Applicants should be born on or after 1st July 2003 to be eligible for admission.
• Qualification: Candidates should have qualified class 12th examination from a recognized board of India.
• Marks: To be eligible, students will need to score at least 60% marks (50% marks for reserved category) in qualifying exam.
• Subject: Applicants must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology in Intermediate level.
• Appearing:  Students appearing in class 12th will also be eligible to apply for admission.

For Integrated M.Tech:

• Nationality: Applicants should be a resident of Indian.
• Qualification: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary examination from a recognized board.
• Marks: Students will be required to obtain at least 65% aggregate marks (60% aggregate marks for reserved category) in class 12th exam.
• Subject: Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
• Age limit: Applicants must be born on or after 1st July 2005 to be eligible for admission.

VIT AP 2025 Admission Procedure

VIT AP admission procedure 2025 will be organized through online mode. For B.Tech course, the selection will be based on the rank secured by the candidate in entrance exam (VITEEE 2025).

Admission to other programmes will be offered on the basis of merit list of qualifying exam. University will publish a list for shortlisted candidates in second week of June 2025. Seat will be allotted on the basis of rank, preference of campus and programme. Selected candidates will get provisional admission letter by the university. 

VIT AP 2025 Entrance Exam (VITEEE)

VIT AP university conducts an entrance exam known as Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE). This examination is conducted to offer admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in the university.

Candidates will be able to appear only once in VITEEE exam. Duration of exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. There will be 125 Multiple Choice Questions in exam. The medium of exam will be English only. 

VIT AP 2025 Merit Scholarship

Applicants who will score CGPA of 9.0 and above in entrance exam/ qualifying exam will get 100% full merit scholarship for undergraduate and postgraduate merit scholarship. Based on the candidate’s performance in academic report and personal interview, university will provide merit scholarships to candidates.

Students who will secure 8.0 CGPA or 80% and above in three years of undergraduate qualifying exam will get 50% scholarship. The university will provide 25% of additional scholarship for girls students. 

VIT AP 2025 Counselling

VIT AP counselling 2025 will be organized in five phases through online mode. The counselling process will be common for VIT group of Institutions. Selected students will be able to participate in counselling process by paying a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 5,900/-.

Applicants will be able to select the campus/ programme/ fee category in counselling process. Seat allotment will be based on the rank obtained by candidates in entrance exam/ qualifying exam. Once the fee is submitted, a provisional admission letter will be made available in online portal of university.
