CAT Mock Test 2026
CAT 2026 entrance exam will be held on 29th November 2026 through CBT mode. Mock tests are live for all candidates, including separate versions for PwD candidates and an additional one for those with blindness or low vision.
To start the mock, you simply enter your login ID and password, and the system takes you straight into the test. Applicants who plan to appear for CAT 2026 exam should practise several mock tests to know the possible difficulty level of the exam.

How to Appear for CAT 2026 Mock Test

- Navigate the Mock Test link on the CAT online portal (Direct Link will be available above)
- Fill in your Registration Number and password, then select Sign In.
- After logging in, press the F11 key to read the “General Instructions for Applicants.”
- Now, proceed to the next page by clicking the NEXT button.
- Carefully read the “Other Important Instructions.”
- Tick the disclaimer checkbox within the “Other Important Instructions for Applicants” section.
- Click on the “I am ready to begin” tab, and the CAT Mock Test will start.

General Features of CAT 2026 Mock Test Screen
Here, we have discussed the general features of a Candidate’s CAT 2026 Mock Test Screen:
- Virtual Calculator: Applicants find the virtual calculator in the top right corner of the screen.
- Timer: Candidates can check the time left for each section at the timer on the top right corner of the screen, below the calculator.
- Question Palette: The question Palette is displayed in right corner of the screen, informing the status of each question using symbols.
- Expand the question area: To maximise the Question Area, candidates have to click the”>” arrow that appears on the left side of the Question Palette and click the “<” arrow to view the Question Palette again.
- Scrolling: Students will have to click the downward arrow to move to the bottom and the upward arrow to move to the top of the Question Area without scrolling.
- Answering a Question: To answer a specific MCQ, click its number in the Question Palette. For Non-MCQs, input your response in the designated area using the on-screen keyboard.
- Change the response: Students can change the responses by selecting the question number and clicking on the ‘Clear Response’ button. Select the other option and click on the ‘Save & Next’ or ‘Mark for Review & Next’ button to save the changes.
- Navigation through sections: Candidates will be able to proceed to the next section only after spending 40 minutes on the current one, which will be the allotted time for each section for non-PwD candidates.
- Zoom option: Candidates will have the screen magnification feature turned on by default. Candidates will see two magnifying glass icons at the top of the screen, and by pressing the icon, they can enlarge and shrink the question.
