Bhabha Institute of Technology, Kanpur

Bhabha Institute of Technology (BIT) was established as a private and self-financed institution set up by the Bhabha Group of Institutions in the year 1993. The BIT is co-located with the Bhabha College of Engineering founded by the same group and in the same premises. Both colleges of the Group of Institutions have accredited with the ISO 9001:2008 certifications. The BIT is affiliated to the UPTU, Lucknow and approved by the MHRD and AICTE, New Delhi. The BIT is also approved by the Board of Technical Education and the State Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Campus:

The campus is situated on the Rasoolabad Road, Near Shivli in Village Aunahan at Post Ramabai Nagar in Kanpur, the district of UP. The campus includes with the both colleges (BIT & BCE) is spread over an area of 200 acres of land. The campus is at the 60 km west of the Kanpur City.

Programmes:

The BIT offers the B.Tech programmes in six disciplines and M.Tech programmes in three disciplines of engineering and technology. The BIT also offers and MCA programme and an MBA programme in the field of management and computer application. The Another college named BCE is offering the 5 B.Tech programmes and an MBA course.

Students:

The BIT is offering the total 720 seat as an intake capacity for admission in all programmes of engineering, management and computer application. The BCE is also offering the 450 intake seats in all programmes.

Facilities:

The campus provides the facility of the huge library, science labs, engineering labs, computer labs, conference hall, separated hostel for boys and girls, cafeteria, health care facility, sports ground, gymnasium, ATM, Wi-Fi, and transport facility.

The campus has a central and full-fledge training and placement cell for providing the job placement opportunities to the students.

The college also conducts the workshops, seminars and cultural activities as extracurricular activities.
