Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, (BBSBEC) Fatehgarh Sahib was established in the year 1993 by the Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Educational Trust. The college is one of the first colleges whose courses was accredited by NBA among the colleges affiliated to PTU. The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University and approved by all India council for technical education (AICTE) New Delhi and Government of Punjab.
The college is located in Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab. The college campus is spread in an area of 175 acres. Located in the holy land of historic Gurdwaras of Fatehgarh Sahib.

The college is offering various courses in graduate and postgraduate engineering discipline, the total no of students from the college in the undergraduate discipline is more than 2700 and total postgraduate is around 500. The college has highly educated and well experienced staff holding a degree from IIT and NIT. The total strength of faculty in the college is around 160.
The college has good infrastructure and provides all major facilities to the students, the facilities provided by the colleges include well equipped labs, state of the art workshops, spacious and ventilated classrooms, computer centre with internet facility. The college is having well stocked library, seminar hall etc. The other facilities of the college include sports, gymnasium, hostel, canteen etc.
