Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering, Bankura
The Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering is a government aided engineering degree institute founded in 1998. On 19 September 1998, Late Shri Jyoti Basu is the Honorable Chief Minister of Government of West Bengal inaugurates this college. This institute is the first engineering institute of Bankura district. The institute is ISO 9001:2008 guaranteed organization.
Campus
The institute campus is spread in a range of 42-section of land (170,000 m2) of area. The institution has educational facilities such as library, research centers, computing facilities and lecture halls. The institute campus is in an enclave of 42 acres of the rich green area and wonderful surroundings empowering students to concentrate on their studies.
Facilities
There is a separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls and college staff. There is also an electric substation of 33/11 KV Power and also have a generator set facility for hostel and institute. The institute additionally gives various facilities such as the canteen and mess facility, medical unit, ATM, transportation facility, internet, classrooms and sports.
