Beant College of Engineering and Technology, Gurdaspur popularly known as BCET is a government aided engineering college located in Gurdaspur district of Punjab. The college is one of the premier institute of engineering in the state and rated among the top colleges which are affiliated to PTU. The BCET was established in the year 1994 by the government of Punjab as an autonomous institution. The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar and approved by all India council for technical education (AICTE) New Delhi and Government of Punjab.
Campus:
The college is located in the Gurdaspur district of Punjab. The educational campus is spread in an area of 74 acres. The college campus includes administrative blocks, amenties, residential and other facilities. The college has good connectivity with the nearest bus station and railway station.
Programmes:
BCET Gurdaspur, is offering six courses in undergraduate engineering discipline leading to the degree of bachelor of technology and five courses in postgraduate engineering discipline leading to the degree of master of technology. The college focuses on imparting quality education to the students, therefore the college employs highly experienced and educated faculty members. The strength of the faculty in the college is around 70+.

The facilities at BCET includes, well spacious and ventilated classrooms, state of the art labs, central library having more than 25000 books and e-journals and A.C reading hall. The college has a well developed computer centre all the departments in the college are connected to the internet through a 12mbps leased line. The other facilities in the college include separate hostel facility for boys and girls, sports facility, mess and canteen facility.
Placement:
Beant College of Engineering and Technology has a Training and Placement cell which help the students in their training and placement related activities. The T&P cell helps in every stage of the recruitment process and also assists the students in their summer/industrial training.
