Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) was started in the year of 2008. BITS is affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow. The institution is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Campus

The BITS has a lush green campus that is spread over 10 acres of land. The Institution is lies on the outskirts of the Industrial City of Ghaziabad. It is located in the Bhagwati Knowledge Park, NH-24, Ghaziabad. The Institution is well-linked with the state and interstate Lucknow-Moradabad bound bus/train services.

Facilities

The Institution has an Academic Centre which houses fully air-conditioned classrooms, lecture theatres, faculty offices and conference room. The fully air conditioned lecture theatres are equipped with a broadband communications network, ensuring global connectivity. There is a well-developed libraries with a collection of 2056 books including 1000 titles, more than 25 journals/ magazine (Indian & foreign) and 5 newspapers. There is also a facility such as Cafe, Computer centre, Banks with ATM, Documentation Centre and transport facility. BITS have a separate hostel accommodation for girls and boys with the mess facilities.

The BITS Placement cell plays a vital role to make sure admirable careers for all the students. The Training and Placement cell carries out the various activities and functions that build the growing relationship between Industry and academia. The Placement cell arranges industrial visits, summer internships, Personality Development classes, group discussions and Pre-placement talks. The major recruiters are Wipro, ICICI Prudential, L & T InfoTech, HCL Technologies, Birla Sun life Insurance, TCS, Syntel, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank, Reliance Life Insurance and many other multinational organizations.
