C.L. Baid Metha College of Pharmacy, Chennai was formed on 13th July 1980. It was founded by the then Minister of Health Government of Tamilnadu, Dr. H.V. Hande. The college is approved by the PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) & AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). It is affiliated to the The Tamilnadu, Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

Campus

The campus is spread over 6 acres of land. The college is situated in Jyothi Nagar, Thorapakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The college campus is well-linked with the rail & road transportation facility. The college has a separate administrative & students blocks.

Facilities

There are various facilities which are offered by the college such as laboratories, animal house, air-conditioned auditorium, canteen, etc. The college has a separate accommodation for both boys & girls. The classrooms are spacious & well-equipped with the OHP and LCD. The seminar room is well-attached with audiovisual facility such as LCD, OHP. There is a well-stocked library with the huge collection of reference books, national and international journals, corporate membership with external library and Internet connection.
