College of Medicine and Sagore Dutta Hospital was established in the year 2010. The college imparts academic career only in the medical field and is affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences. The college is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI).

The college is situated at Kamarhati in the suburbs of Kolkata. The nearest airport is (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport) which is located 12 km away and the nearest railway station is (Agarpara Station) which is located 2.2 km away from the campus.

The college provides separate hostel facility for boys as well as girls. Internship

The students pursing Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme has to go through the internship training for the duration of one year.
