Dr. K.N. Modi Institute of Engineering & Technology (KNMIET) was established in the year 1995 as a private, self financed and co-educational institution set up by the Dr. K. N. Modi Foundation. The college is affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, Noida. The college is approved by AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi. It is recognized by the Board of Technical Education, State Government of UP.
Campus:
KNMIET is situated on Delhi – Meerut National Highway-58 opposite of Satish Park at Modi Nagar in Ghaziabad the district of UP. The campus is 32 Km away from the Delhi Border. The campus lies under the Delhi-NCR region.
Faculty & Students:
KNMIET has a team 90 faculty members. The intake capacity in all departments is more than 1200 students.

The college provides medical facility, transportation, canteen & mess, sports & games, labs & workshop and separated hostel accommodation for boys and girls.
Activities:
KNMIET organizes the personality development programmes, individual project work, sports event, and the other curricular activities.

KNMIET has a T&P Cell inside the campus which provides the facility of trainings, mock interviews, group discussion, pre placement talk and job oriented programmes and final placement in various national and overseas companies like Infosys, IBM, HCL Accenture, Wipro, Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, P&G, Cipla, Reliance, Parle, HUL and Samsung.
