G Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad

G Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science (GNITS) was established in the year 1997. It is a woman only and self-financed institution sponsored by the G Pulla Reddy Charities Trust. It is the first institution in Andhra Pradesh obtained ISO 9001:2008 certified institution’s status. The college is affiliated to the JNTU, Hyderabad and approved by the AICTE. The college is accredited by the NBA and NAAC.

Campus:

The GNITS campus is sited over the 12.5 acres of land. The campus is located at Shaikpet in the heart of the Hyderabad City in state Andhra Pradesh. The campus is sited on the Gachibowli Main Road (Old Bombay Road) at 4 km from Mehedipatnam, 8 km from Nampalli Railway Station and 10 km from Hyderabad Airport.

Students & Faculty:

For the current academic year, the GNITS is offering the admission over 810 seats as the annual intake capacity of all programmes. The campus has more than 170 faculty members from all departments.

Facilities:

The campus is housed in seven buildings including 2 hostel blocks with all arrangements of security, water and accommodation. The college has departmental library and a central digital library with over 32000 of books and volumes. The campus has provided over 900 PCs to the students and staff. The campus provides the Centre for English Language Learning (CELL), computer centre with 15Mbps leased line and wi-fi connectivity.

Activities:

The campus has the Entrepreneurship Development Cell for promoting the entrepreneurship among the student. The campus organizes the sports activities, annual day, alumni day and technical festival.

Placement:

The GNITS campus has a placement cell which is providing pre-placement training & industry specified training programme, arranging the campus interview, organizes industry interaction and coordinating project work. Read More >>
