Institute of Road and Transport Technology Erode
Institute of Road and Transport Technology is run by all transport corporation of government of Tamil Nadu. IRTT is a government undertaking, non-minority, and co-educational institute was established in the year 1984. College is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE- All India Council of Technical Education.
Institute of Road and Transport Technology situated on half km off Salem–Coimbatore highway (NH-47) and 15 km from Erode railway station at Suriyapalayam in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. College is located over in 350 acres of land and well-connected by rail and road in addition to the one provided by the college.

College established anti ragging committee to avoid the violence and grievance redressal committee for resolve the problems to their students. The college organizes and celebrates the extra curricular and co-curricular activities.
