Jiwaji University, Gwalior

Jiwaji University, Gwalior (JU) is a an affiliating university situated in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh. The university was established in the year 1964 and derives its name from George Jivajirao Scindia, the last reigning Maharaja of Gwalior. The former president Sarvapelli Radhakrishnan laid the foundation stone of the university on December 11, 1964. The university is accredited by the government of India and affiliates more than 300 colleges. JU is well-known for imparting education in the field of management, law and many more.

Campus:

Jiwaji University, Gwalior is located at Mahalgaon in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh. The university campus is spread in an area of 225 acres having academic block, residential block, auditorium and all necessary amenities. The colleges campus provides all major facilities to the staff and students.

Jiwaji University, Gwalior has good infrastructure comprising of all major facilities like well equipped and workshops, spacious and ventilated lecture halls, seminar halls and auditorium, computer center with internet connectivity, central library with huge collection of books and journals and various magazines and newspapers, separate hostel facility for boys and girls, sports facility etc.
