JNTUH College of Engineering, Karimnagar

JNTUH College of Engineering (JNTUHCE) was originally established in the year 1965 as a government institution by the government of Andhra Pradesh named as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College, which was affiliated to the Osmania University. After the formation of JNTU, the college became a constituent college of the University and renamed as JNTU College of Engineering approved by the UGC.

Campus:

In the year 1984, the college was shifted to the present site in Nachupally in Karim Nagar district, AP. The campus is spread over in 100 acres of land.

Programmes:

The JNTUHCE campus is conducting B.Tech programme and M.Tech programme in five disciplines in the field of engineering & technology.

Students & Faculty:

At present, the JNTUHCE offers annual admission over 390 seats in all programmes. The college has a team of 59 faculty members from all departments.

Facilities:

The JNTUHCE campus has 15 lecture halls, 2 drawing hall, seminar hall, laboratories, guest house, canteen, auditorium, boys & girls’ hostels, staff quarters, sports facility, health care facility, bank, shopping complex, stationery and hair saloon.

Activities:

The campus has student clubs, committees, associations and student chapter which execute the extra and co-curricular activities. Such activities encourage the students through morally, cultural and social aspects.

Placement:

The JNTUHCE campus has a Training & Placement Centre which arranges the industrial tours, industrial trainings, skill development programmes and various job oriented trainings. The placement cell provides the job opportunity for the students by inviting the reputed industries in college for campus recruitment.
