K.D.R. Government Polytechnic, Mahabubnagar
K.D.R. Government Polytechnic was inaugurated by Sri Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru on 11th October 1959. This college was initiated by late Sri Raja Rameshwar Rao. It is a government polytechnic college, which is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with State Board of Technical Education and Training. This college offers diploma courses in the field of pharmacy and engineering.
Campus
The college is located at Wanaparthy, Mahabubnagar district of the Telangana state. This college has a sprawling campus of more than 18 acres of land. The campus is located in a serene environment and well-accessible by road and rail transportation facility.
Facilities
This college has a library which is well-stocked with a good collection of books, reports, magazines, journals and many others. All the classrooms are fully furnished and equipped with latest teaching equipments. It also houses well-equipped laboratories for all the departments. Some other facilities offered by this college are indoor and outdoor sports facility, advanced computer centre, medical facility, canteen, transport facility, accommodation facility, etc.
Programmes
K.D.R. Government Polytechnic offers only diploma courses in the field of pharmacy and engineering. It offers admission to students in D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy) programme. This college gives admission in 60 seats for D.Pharma course. It also offers diploma courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Commercial & Computer Practice and many others with the intake capacity of 60 students in each specialization.
